Dear DeFiat holders we have got great news!!!

WHAT IS IT?
As stated in our white paper, currently the fee structure is whitelisted for exchanges such as UniSwap. This structure generates smaller fee’s while we create a sustainable economic model for DFT users. As we progressed, UniSwap was whitelisted because their system was blocking “Fee On Transaction” tokens. As a result, enabling the fee for Uniswap would have resulted in breaking the trading system making DFT un-tradeable.

Following the success of CORE, and defunct forks like ENCORE, or UniCores liquidity wrapped solution. UniSwap answered the community’s demands for a more permissive solution, electing to allow the trading of “Fee On Transfer” tokens .

DeFiat is spearheading the DeFi space with novel concepts, and one of them is its upgradeable contracts executed via governance. While our “Fee On Transaction” feature has been ready from inception. Now that UniSwap allows such behavior, DFT can evolve and enable the necessary fee(s) and burn(s) on UniSwap transfers.

What do DFT holders need to do?
Nothing — There will be no up and coming forks, or swaps. This will be a seamless improvement for all DeFiat holders as our token model was created to evolve with market changes. DFT now behaves similar to CORE. Every Uniswap transaction generates 0.5% fee and 0.5% burn (Voted Fee). The fees collected by our treasury will be poured into the DeFiat pools, generating sustainable rewards.

UNIV2 holders currently get 0.3% of each transaction as a reward from UniSwap. If we decide to transfer 100% of the rewards to the Liquidity Laboratory, the farmers will benefit from an extra 0.5% sustainable yield. As always with DeFiat, the community has the last decision.

NEXT STEPS
DFT will naturally evolve in the following hours. You can watch the Treasury replenishing and once there are enough rewards, we’ll vote to see where they get distributed.
